The 4 lenders behind PayMe
PayMe is not one lender. It is an app through which several RBI-regulated NBFCs lend. According to RBI’s list, they are:
- Avanti Finance Private Limited
- Finkurve Financial Services Limited
- Scaleup Financial Services Private Limited
- Ruloans Financial Services Private Limited
Why this matters to you: your loan agreement, KFS and CIBIL report show the lender’s name, not “PayMe”. If you see one of these names on your credit report and don’t recognise it, it may be a PayMe loan.
How to check your own loan in 3 minutes
- Open your loan agreement or KFS in the app and note the lender’s name.
- Match it to the list above.
- Check your CIBIL or Experian report: the loan should appear under that lender’s name with the right amount.
Spot something wrong, like a loan you never took or a closed loan still showing as active? Raise it with the lender first. If it is not resolved within 30 days, you can escalate to the RBI Ombudsman at cms.rbi.org.in.
Paying several app loans at once?
PayMe discloses short tenures and APRs of up to 98.19% a year. Short loans with upfront fees cost a lot per month, and many borrowers end up repaying several of them at once.
Find out in 2 minutes if one loan could replace your app loans – one EMI, one date, a clear total cost.
Customer care and complaints
- First step: contact PayMe through the in-app support or the grievance email RBI lists for this app: grievance@paymeindia.in.
- Lender’s grievance officer: every RBI-regulated lender must publish one on its website.
- Not resolved in 30 days? Escalate to the RBI Integrated Ombudsman at cms.rbi.org.in.
- Harassment or fraud: report cyber fraud at cybercrime.gov.in or call 1930.
Beware of fake “PayMe customer care” numbers on social media. Only use contacts inside the official app or website.
Frequently asked questions
Is PayMe RBI approved?
RBI does not “approve” apps, but regulated lenders must report the apps they use to RBI, and RBI publishes that list. PayMe is on it, reported by 4 NBFCs, as of 5 October 2026.
Which NBFC gave me my PayMe loan?
Check your KFS or loan agreement. It names the exact lender, which will be one of the 4 listed above.
Why does my CIBIL report show a different company name?
Because the lender, not the app, reports your loan to credit bureaus. Match the name against the list above.
Can I close a PayMe loan early?
Check the prepayment terms in your KFS. Under RBI’s digital lending rules, you can also exit a new loan during its cooling-off period by repaying the principal and proportionate APR, without penalty.
